As a B Corp, we are part of a global movement of companies that meet high standards of social and environmental impact.
The B Corp label indicates that: a company has been recognised as meeting B Lab's social and environmental impact standards; has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance; and demonstrates accountability and transparency by displaying its performance score on its public B Corp profile.
B Corp status does not indicate that a company is perfect, nor that it has achieved its maximum positive impact. It does, however, demonstrate that it is part of a global movement of companies working collectively to transform economic paradigms and that, to continue to do so, they must meet increasing standards of social and environmental performance.
To maintain B Corp status, companies must undertake the assessment and verification process every three years, demonstrating that they still meet B Lab's standards, which in turn are continually evolving, thanks in part to constant input from experts outside the movement.
It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EU) No 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body as per Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012.
The criteria of the BIA are distinct and independent from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies, and they are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
We use only electricity from renewable and sustainable sources. The roofs of our production sites host modern photovoltaic systems, and the remaining energy we draw from the grid also comes from renewable sources.
