Projecting fantastic stories with creative reuse

Here's a little game to engage children in creative activities starting with the use of waste materials and also a concrete way to teach them the value of recycling and respect for the environment. We bet then that they will have a great time inventing and projecting their own fantastic stories?

Materials Needed:
- Pack Disney Cookies, Crackers, Granola, etc
- Sheets of paper to draw the story
- Wide transparent tape
- Indelible black marker
- Colored markers
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Small flashlight, even the one from your cell phone is fine

Procedure:
1. Get all the materials you need
2. Unleash your creativity by making up a story and draw small illustrations on a sheet of paper to tell the story
3. Open the cookie boxes and perfectly cut out the front and back box
4. Roll the front and back of the boxes to form cylinders and secure them with the stapler
5. Tape one end of the cylinder trying to cover its entire circumference
6. Reproduce on the tape the little drawings that represent the story you want to project. You can use permanent marker to create the outlines and colored ones to fill in the little figures.

Now have fun telling your story to everyone in the house with you, take them into a darkened room and use a flashlight to project. If you want to amaze them even more try putting on your favorite music in the background!
