Gluten Free Chocolate Salami Recipe

titolo post

If you, too, every year after Easter you find yourself overwhelmed with chocolate eggs, so that you don't let them expire and consume them calmly during the following weeks, we recommend this very tasty anti-waste recipe, gluten-free and that you can customize according to your tastes!

Ingredients

  • 200 gr of Chocolate (dark, white, milk, or even a mix)
  • 120 gr of your favorite Germinal Bio Gluten-Free Cookies
  • 100 gr of Dried Fruits (cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, to taste)
  • 60 ml Vegetable Beverage to taste
  • 50 gr Sunflower Seed Oil
  • A pinch of cinnamon and a dash of rum (to taste)

First, let's break the chocolate into pieces, melt it in a double boiler and let it cool. Then let's toast the dried fruit on a hot pan (without the addition of oil) and cut it into slivers. Let us now crumble the cookies, helping ourselves with a rolling pin or a blender, trying to get pieces of about 5 mm.

Choose the cookies that you have in your pantry and that you like best. We recommend Gluten Free Hazelnut Oat Biscuits or Gluten Free Whole Grain Oat Biscuits for this preparation, which are nice and crunchy and have a neutral taste.

Having prepared the dry ingredients, we combine separately: the oil, the vegetable drink of your choice, any flavorings and the melted chocolate. After mixing everything together, we finally combine the cookies and dried fruit, pour everything onto a sheet of baking paper and form a salami. We close the paper at both ends with a string to form a long candy and store the salami in the freezer for at least a couple of hours. Can you make it last that long?
