Against the stess? Here are our tips!
In times of stress and anxiety, being able to relax can become a daunting task.
Stress is a set of physical and emotional reactions that occur when there are demands from outside that involve modifications or changes. Thus, it does not necessarily imply that something negative has happened, but it does involve a great deal of expenditure of energy.
Keeping fit is a lifestyle that goes through food, body and mind. So here are some relaxation tips to make you feel good!
1. Love yourself - It starts with you, because how you feel has a huge impact on how you treat others and how others treat you. Learning to love and accept yourself is an eternal adventure as life is constantly evolving and we with it!
2. Live in the here and now - Time is now, now is all we have! The past is past and the future is not yet here, so start thinking now and live in the moment, this will help you to be more centered and think more clearly. To be more centered you could practice yoga, for example.
3. Mindfulness: mindfulness of the here and now - The term means mindful attention and is a practice used to clear the mind of stress through attention to the present moment. With this technique observe accept what is going on inside and outside of you without being affected by judgment or criticism. Understand the difficulties that take you out of the moment. Be aware of how things make you feel, both the good and the bad. Self-awareness is important to understand what choices are right for you.
4. Breathing - Breathing is the basis of relaxation. To regain calm from a particularly tense moment, adopt diaphragmatic breathing, inflating and deflating the abdomen like a balloon. Calming your breath will also lower your heart rate, give you more self-confidence, improve your sleep and finally your mind will be instantly calmer.
5. Practice every day - Happiness is a practice! Spread positive feelings and let go of negativity. It is your choice to master your actions, enjoy yourself and share your energy with others.
